When writing about oneself,
one must try to be truthful.
Truth is more important than modesty.

Gobblefunking is a special type of language that Roald Dahl used. He made up words by combining two together, or using ones that sounded similar. Some of the best gobblefunks are words or phrases that donít exist but really should.

At the risk of killing my english-writing "proficiency", or what's left of it, sige ito na Tagalog na lang. Nyek. Sa bagay ang tagal ko na ring hindi nagsusulat ng kahit ano. Una sa lahat, sobrang busy ng buhay arki, at pangalawa... uhm... sobrang busy talaga. Most of my spare time I spend either sleeping or reading something that is not and will not help me in any way in my upcoming college thesis. Speaking of, that is actually the reason why I chose to revive this blog once again and write, write, write. Kahit walang kwenta ok lang, as long as nagsusulat and somehow nakakapaghanda ako sa pagsulat ng aking thesis book.
Seven years in UP [hehe] and it all boils down to that one "school project". The culmination of your being an undergraduate summed up in bounded sheets of paper, rendered presentation boards, and nights and nights and more nights of hard labor. Hindi ko alam kung dapat akong matakot o ma-excite. Excited na kong magtrabaho at mag-practice, that's for sure, pero thesis, hmmm. In a profession [naks] where people strive to be different and sensitive at the same time, it's rather difficult to come up with something that's "new". Hay. Hay hay hay haaaayyyy... Right now, two weeks before vacation deadline I'm setting up and preparing my system for another year of more intense work and pressure. Nagpa-powerwalk na ko tuwing umaga, oh yeah! Bawal na magkasakit. BAWAL.
Hay. Kaya yan.

"Being an artist requires a huge commitment and often the most successful endeavors have yet to generate any major capital in the short term.
Wow 2 entries in one week! Ang dami kong oras ah! Just want to share this quote I found, as usual, on one of my internet browsings. This is from a photographer by the name of Lyle Owerko, the lens owner who captured fantastic photos of one of the most significant events of our time, the 9/11 tragedy. When everyone was running away from the WTC, he was running towards it notwithstanding the danger he was getting himself into. Now that's going against the flow! Haha. Passion can really drive you mad. And make you famous. And respected. Mabuhay ka Lyle Owerko!

Surprisingly there is this one girl who recently commented on an entry I posted 4 years ago. Haha. Wala lang. Some of them random hoppers probably.
O Internet! Blessed be the day mankind invented and mass-marketed you! Recently I've been site jumping all over the www. It's amazing how much information really is available to everyone, even to the swivel-chair-desktop-potato population which includes myself. A glass of iced tea, a round of favourite tunes playing on the background plus heaps of eye energy and I'm good to go. From acid rain, fuel cells and mega ice cracks to coffee addiction, these 2 are the most outstanding sites so far:
1 The National Geographic Society (www.nationalgeographic.com)
Well this is actually a staple-slash-favorite. It's been in my bookmarks folder since my mom canceled our magazine subscription. If only to browse through amazing photos or read about something entirely mundane that just excites one's curiosity, NatGeo would replace volumes upon volumes and cds upon cds of encyclopedias. An economic alternative for its delivered printed counterpart.
For your ideas + aesthetics + amusement. Ito ang pinakapanalo, especially if you're into all that design stuff (present!). From photography to illustration to package design and animation to green architecture (!), this is the design fan's ultimate website. From here you could jump to:
This is a picture book about the moment in a relationship when you realise you don't love someone completely, because there is one little thing that keeps bothering you. When it bothers you so much it actually makes you physically cringe, you know it's time to say; "I love you but..."
A series of nice editorial-ish illustrations and funny captions by Ross Neil and Alex Holder, some verging on the absurd as I love you but you put ketchup on everything or I love you but you have no vices or even I love you but you tell stories over and over again, this site is worth all the "open in new tab" clicks you'd have to do because the photos can't be viewed with a prev/next option.
Hay marami pa.
50 Amazing Examples of Tilt-Shift Photography
Tilt-shift photography is a creative and unique type of photography in which the camera is manipulated so that a life-sized location or subject looks like a miniature-scale model.
Only you need a tilt-shift lens to do this, I'm not sure if this effect could also be achieved using an ordinary lens. All you need anyway is a shallow depth of field.. Hmm I guess not.

As one of the comments said, you don't need to understand French to know how coffee is so addicting! Astig na animation. Ang hirap maging adik sa kape. :D

"If you tame me, it's as if the sun had come to shine into my life. I shall know the sound of a step that would be different from all the others. Other steps would send me hurrying back underneath the ground. Yours, will call me, like music, out of my burrow...
...One sees clearly
only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye... It's the time that you spent on your rose that makes your
rose so important... People have forgotten this truth... But you mustn't forget it. You become responsible for
what you've tamed. You're responsible for your rose... "
